Pakistan vs Sri Lanka Twenty20 tied 1-1 (December 2013)

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka Twenty20 Series Tied

Sri Lanka levels the T20 Series vs Pakistan - December 2013

After a couple of exciting games between two of the best Twenty20 International teams, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the series resulted in a tie. Pakistan managed to win the first T20I by 3 wickets, which was a nail-biter. The second one Sri Lanka won comprehensively by 24 runs, but only after a good fight from Pakistan's tailenders.

Pakistani batsmen again failed to prove themselves in this series. Some even got starts but blew them off. Sharjeel Khan was one consistent player in the two-game series, but he seems to have that Pakistani-Batsman disease where they throw away their wickets at crucial stages. That was evidently the case in second T20 international. Umar Amin who has been repeatedly given many chances, has not proven his worth in the team. There are many more promising players on the sidelines that deserve chances. Umar Amin has been given too many chances already. I think Pakistan should let him go back to domestic and let him earn his spot again

Sri Lanka in the first T20 stuttered but in the second one they were quite brilliant. Their T20 weapon, Lasith Malinga, again put his ability to display. In both Twenty20 Internationals he bowled well.

The ODI series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka begins on December 18, 2013. You can watch live streaming of Pakistan vs Sri Lanka for the entire series.

Enjoy!
